They mandate that lending service providers must store data only in servers located in India, ensure direct disbursement of loans to borrower accounts, and implement cooling-off periods for loans. The guidelines also prohibit automatic increase in credit limits without explicit consent and establish grievance redressal mechanisms for digital lending.
